Trend-Spotting | Flirty Eyelet Dresses

Happy Monday Guys&Girls!

Eyelet Dresses, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, PacSun, Urban Outfitters, Nina Ricci

This weekend I did some spring/summer shopping, but eyelet dresses are still on my <3 list. Other than the 'eyelets' (the little holes in eyelet dresses that they are named after) being nice when it gets hot, they are ridiculously flirty and cute.

Top (left to right): Neiman Marcus French Connection A-Line Eyelet Dress in light yellow (US$198). It looks white in the photo, but is listed as light yellow on the site. Nordstrom Kensie Embroidered Eyelet Dress in white (US$99).

Bottom (left to right): PacSun Roxy Perfect Days Dress in white (US$49.50). The tie racer back is a really  cool detail. Like the Urban Outfitters Kimchi Blue Payton Strapless Eyelet Dress (US$29, currently on sale from $69), it's totally laid back. The Kimchi Blue dress comes in white, peach, and navy. I like white eyelet dresses, but the peachy coral is fun and so spring. Do eyelet in the evening too with the Nina Ricci Ruffled Cotton-Blend Floral-Eyelet Dress in black (US$1,425). The sheerness at the edge of the skirt and a bit above the waistband is classy with the layered skirt and ruffles on top.

Edel Therese, PacSun, Urban Outfitters, wooden sunglasses, lolita
With the day eyelet dresses, I would wear cute flats or oxfords out with friends during the day and dress it up a little bit with pastel heels- like a coral or turquoise- for the white dresses and nude with the coloured. A white eyelet dress is incredibly versatile so you can go from Coachella boho/boho rocker or preppy super easy.

The PacSun and Urban Outfitters eyelet dresses would look great in place of the PacSun Kirra Tube Shirred Dress in this laid back look I put together with the lolita wood veneer sunglasses by Tumbleweeds Handcraft for a guest post with Edel Therese last Friday.

Stay Fabulous,
xoxo Aimee

  5. I know summer will be upon us very soon, and I do need more summer clothes. I remember last summer being so hot wearing chinos and a tank. I was at the Brooklyn Flea and I tried on about 10 dresses trying to find something cooler. So these would be perfect!

  10. I love all things eyelet! I just feel like I can't pull off that look, and that people will think those are actual holes in my dress from an unfortunate hole-punching accident.

It's not an inaccurate assumption to make. ;-)
