OOTD: Best Casual Looks For Spring | Southern Hippie

Hey Gorgeous Readers!

Today I'm totally excited to have Southern Hippie guest posting. Started as a traveling boutique out of a suv, they've grown to a brick and mortar shop in Texas, a 1965 Airstream trailer, and their ecommerce site. So now we can all get their fabulously flirty feminine and adorable bohemian looks everywhere. Shopping their site and instagram (@shopsouthernhippie) was like jumping forward into summer. I adore the summer boho style and vibe and love that they have that all yearlong.

Spring is in the air and so are fresh new styles! This spring has brought an influx of bright colors, bold patterns, and a loose, comfortable feel to both tops and bottoms. Warm weather is all about feeling casual, whether you’re in a pair of loose shorts, a printed maxi dress, or a flowy top. There’s nothing quite like showcasing pops of color and breezy pieces to bid farewell to a cold winter. Below, we’ve selected a few of our favorite spring #OOTD looks:

1. Festival Looks

With festival season all around us, this fun look incorporates fun trends for the spring, like unique patterns and bright colors all while maintaining that casual festival look. The printed sweater is from Wildfox, the bright colored tassel shorts are from Show Me Your Mumu, the casual hat is from Tigerlily, and the fun backpack is from Stela 9.

2. Brunch Wear

Nothing is more fun than Sunday brunch with your girlfriends. This gorgeous, casual look shows off a feminine touch with one of this spring’s biggest trends: floral. Go easy breezy with this casual romper from Show Me Your Mumu, block the sun with this hat from Tiger Lily, and accessorize with this pretty little bag from Stela 9.

3. The Every Day Look

Great for an everyday look, each of these pieces embrace spring trends. A loose, flowy kimono paired with a fun, floral dress is the recipe for the perfect spring outfit. Great for a concert or a dinner on the town, this look is the epitome of casual trendiness. The dress is Show Me Your Mumu, the kimono is For Love and Lemons, and the hat is Tigerlily.

Each of these #OOTD’s incorporate warmer weather, fun patterns, and all-around comfort. For more information on casual spring trends, visit Southern Hippie today!

Stay Fabulous,
xoxo Aimee
