Happy Monday Guys&Girls!

I love Vogue of course, but I'm also a long time reader of Seventeen. They always find fun, young, easier to wear, and cheaper ways to wear current trends. Their May 2013 issue was no exception with "Your Super Chic Summer". Nicholas Routzen's photos are beautiful too.The contrasting messy and chic layers are so cute and a little edgy on the 'Girly Grunge' page. The black&white trend is timelessly classic, but the 3.1 Phillip Lim Spring 2013 looks caught my eye. "The appeal of his pretty-but-cool clothes is that they don't try too hard." (Style.com) 'street elegance' defines the line perfectly.

    Thanks for the early birthday wish you left on my blog! As far as summer trends...Girly Grunge is something I can get behind. I hate wearing heels but I love dresses.
