Fashion by C | Bad Boy Crush

Hey Gorgeous Readers!

Is there such thing as a 'selective shopaholic'? Lately my shoe shopping has been replacing my Sephora shopping (not that my Sephora love list got any shorter..).

As much as I adore sweet stilettos, cozy fur lined boots, and flats with cute bows and fringe, I couldn't help but fall for Swedish shoe brand, Fashion by C- the bad boy counterpart to darling Kate Spade flats. With gold zipper and stud detailing, Fashion by C adds edge to boots, flats, and pumps.

1. Crazy Rivet Sneaker.

Appropriately named, these sneakers are crazy- awesome. The soft suede sides and fur lining remind me of my comfy Fuzzies (like these pink ones) Always on the search for the perfect gold hardware in shoes and bags I'm definitely not disappointed. With the leather down the front and at the top, the studs at the toe, chunky asymmetric zipper, and rivets for the laces, you could get away with not wearing any other jewelry. Though go gold or home... so you might as well pile it on.

2. Monday Boot.

Make Mondays a little more bearable with these casually cool biker boots. Not as flashy and crazy as the sneakers, but I love the classic silhouette. These could easily become my go-to boot with any look. And they'll make any lazy outfit look a bit more pulled-together even if you rolled out of bed ten minutes before work... possibly still hung over from the weekend.

3. Rock Pump.

These stilettos balance classy silhouette with  daring edge beautifully. The rounded silver rivets look almost pearl-like and the 11cm (4.3in) heel is showstopping sexy.

4. Rivet Boot. -- on sale!

I've been falling more for the smoking flat/moccasin silhouette over the sweet ballet flat as of lately. If I ever went on tour- these shoes would be a staple in my rock star closet. Ignoring the fact that my musical abilities extend to creating Spotify playlists.

5. Jerrica leo Pump. -- on sale!

These pumps are simply fierce! Red soles, leopard printed lining, and my favourite detail- the zipper. I was literally sold the second I saw these with my adoration of visible zippers. I just think the zipper going from the toe and all along the top edge is the coolest thing. And they're such steal now that they're 70% off. Get super bold and get them in red.

6. Shana Flat. -- on sale!

I was excited to find there was even a pair of girly pastel flats for when I'm done killing it on Guitar Hero (and my neighbors by the earmuffs and ear plugs, I'm guessing quite literally) and daydreaming about the motorcycle I would be too afraid to ride. With the same zipper detail as in the Jerrica leo pump, I think Shana and I could become best friends.

The Shopping Board | Cool Weather, Cool Colour

Hey Gorgeous Readers!

I don't think I can be trusted with my card during Autumn fashion season. I honestly didn't mean to do two Shopping Boards this week... but I can't get my mind off my online shopping carts. haha. My closet is already filled with navy (and pink) pieces, but with Acai and Turbulence as two of Pantone's Fall 2013 colours I think you can never have too many of this cool colour.

1. Jerome C. Rousseau 120mm Black Suede Flicker Pumps. These pumps look great from the front, but killer from the side. Beautiful silhouette and at 4.7 inches the heel just high enough.

2. Checked Bow-Tie. Because I couldn't just leave out a bow-tie- especially this dapper little checked one.

3. Witchery Eye Palette in Midnight. As I'm sure you've noticed on my Instagram lately I've become super addicted to my makeup and beauty products. This palette would be great to create some dramatic looks this Autumn/Winter.

4. Clarins Crayon Kohl Eyeliner in Blue. I just got Urban Decay's 24/7 Eye Pencil in chaos and am obsessed. I've been wearing it just under my eye with some of my Naked Palette colours (like Sidecar, Half Baked, and Smog). On the search for more eye liners though this Clarins one is near the top of my list. It also comes with a brush on one end of the pencil.

5. Frayed Lightweight Scarf. This scarf isn't really a cozy cool weather scarf, but I love the frayed edges anyway.

6. MANGO Studded Cat-Eye Sunglasses. Gotta protect your eyes all year and these sunnies are so classic (Marilyn silhouette) and edgy with studs all along the top of the arms.

7. Karen Millen Animal Pony Belt. I love how simple and minimal this belt is. Totally chic.

8. Brooks Brothers Kiel James Patrick Polka-Dot Bow-Tie Bracelet. A Bow-Tie... made for your arm! The polka dots and gold chain are so cute and preppy too.

9. Reserve Over-The-Knee Boot Black Leather. Can't have too much leather this season either. With the stretch panel on the back they'll fit perfectly.

10. H&M Small Bag. I'm pretty sure I'll be dreaming about this bag. I'm crazy about big hardware on a bag (if it's not done in an obnoxious way) like the gold pieces on the straps and large zippers. It's 21cmx32cm (8.26inx12.59in) with two outer zipped pockets, one inner zipped pocket, and two inner non-zipped pockets.

The Shopping Board | Biker Jackets

Hey Gorgeous Readers!

I finally got to layer my biker jacket over a sweater a few times now.. Autumn weather is here! A closet staple, biker jackets dominated the runways for SS13, FW13, and they're still bringing some edge to SS14's looks. Not just the rebellious and edgy jacket à la James Dean, the biker jacket is a sophisticated must-have for every season. From slimmer cuts, embroidered detailing, stitching on the shoulders and sleeves, bright colours, to mixing other materials- nearly every collection has brought their own unique take on the leather jacket.

One leather jacket look I'm especially loving is the Tweed Biker Jacket. Being a total geek about material I love the mix of the soft tweed and hard leather.

The Shopping Board | Graphic Distressed Sweaters

Hey Gorgeous Readers!

I'm still waiting for cooler Autumn weather to layer up on the sweaters and drink pumpkin spice lattes while the leaves turn colours. Can you tell its my favourite season? haha.

But I found the perfect sweaters that can go from the warm weather today to the cooler weather when it comes. I think open knit sweaters are great all year, but when I found these distressed sweaters I fell in love. Especially with their cool word graphics.

xoxo Aimee
