In 1924, Coco Chanel discovered tweed and began making the iconic tweed jacket- as classically Chanel as the little black dress or Chanel NÂș5. And coloured tweed is just so hot right now. Chanel's Autumn/Winter 2013 show's coloured tweed looks were some of my favourites (some of my other favorites- the other Chanel looks). This was the 100th anniversary of Chanel's first boutique.
Focusing on what Lagerfeld called “a global look” the show featured a seemingly endless array of pieces imbued with Chanel trademarks, yet connected to youth culture.
I would wear any of Chanel's look any day, but coloured tweed looks fantastic in more 'everyday casual' outfits too.

Chic and Girly: Wear a pastel coloured tweed like pink or blue over a tank top with a club collar and a pencil skirt or shift dress. Finish with a pair of nude heels. Ready to make an impression.
Fashionable at Work: Wear similar coloured pants and shirt to keep it simple with just the tweed making a statement. Ready for that presentation (or gossiping during that presentation)
How do you wear coloured tweed?
Stay Fabulous,
