Hey Belles&Beaux!
This week's Project Runway challenge was.... bow-ties!
warning: I won't spoil who won/lost, but if you don't want to see some of the finished looks- watch the show and come back to this post. :)
The guest judge was Jesse Tyler Ferguson from Modern Family and co-founder of "Tie-the-Knot". Tie-the-Knot's mission is to "advocate a more stylish and equal America" on top of selling cool bow-ties at the tie bar.
Naturally then this week's challenge was to create a look inspired by bow-ties. While I am so in love with this challenge (of course!) there were a lot of not-so-fabulous looks. On the other hand, there were also three that were very fabulous. Like I would buy them right now.
Katelyn Pankoke (Chicago Love!)
This equestrian-esque inspired look is so classy. Kate incorporated some bow-ties in the bow-tie shaped tuxedo stripe, in the straps, and in the back detail.
Bradon McDonald
That top... yeah it's made entirely of bow-ties. Need I say more? I'm in love with this.
Dom Streater
So adorable! Her mixed stripes were perfect; she also had a little chevron stripe in the back. And then the multi-colour bow-ties and hair bow are just too cute.
Stay Fabulous,
xoxo Aimee
They're all really cute. Especially love that first one.

Oh yeah! All three of these were out standing. What a drama filled episode. I know he had a wicked temper but I am sorta sad to see Sandro go.

I j'adore these designs but I really like the middle look(crafting a trendy top entirely of bow-ties is true genius).
ReplyDeleteThis also reminds me that I need to catch up on Project Runway!
The first one is my favorite, but i think they're all gorgeous!!!
