Kicking off another fashion-filled season in Chicago, emerging Skokie-based designer, Prina Bagia presented PRIN by Prina Bagia SS15 at Gallery Bar (738 N Clark St) on 22 May. Each piece from custom couture, ready to wear, and accessories in all of her collections are designed with beautiful attention to details and luxurious material. She takes inspiration from her strong Indian heritage to provide art and beauty into every aspect of life. Her designs were recently featured at RAW Artists Chicago: Mosaic, Chicago Independent Music Awards, and FashionBar Chicago’s Fall/Winter 2014 Women’s Wear Fashion Show, where she was one of five featured local designers to showcase her line in the only event focused on that season. Her SS15 collection was stunningly glamorous with flowy summer pieces in beige and cremes to reds and pinks. The chic hair and makeup by Steven Papageorge Hair Academy and styling by Kiki Khan matched the high fashion of the night perfectly. The event set the bar for all the exciting events coming in the following months with music by DFR Productions, light bites & cocktails.
