How to Wear | D'Orsay Heels

Hey Gorgeous Readers!

I love an adorable ballet flat or edgy moto boot, but a D'Orsay Heel mixes chic with cool effortlessly. A d'orsay heel is a pump with the vamp (aka the sides) cut and shows the arch of the foot. And surprisingly brogues and loafers aren't the only thing we borrowed from men, d'Orsay shoes actually originate from mens fashion and were named after Count Alfred d'Orsay. The vamp was cut for mens' wider feet. Stylist.co.uk shared the history behind some of our other favourite shoes as well.

The d'Orsay heel trend inspired this style board. I really like them with the retro and pop art trends.

Pair the shoes with some rolled cigarette jeans (which stay the same width from knee down instead of getting narrower like skinny jeans) and a trendy pop art sweater like this edgy Cinderella one. Then keep it polished with a sleek bag, cat eye sunnies, a red lip, and black pointed earrings.

Stay Fabulous,
xoxo Aimee
